ABOUT.

Hello, My name is Natalie.

I am a current Year 2 student majoring in Apparel Design @ Temasek Polytechnic.

My design philosophy is Vibrancy. I always love colours that help stimuate and add a little touch of happiness into all my works. As RaIph Lauren said, style is personal; and I believe to stand out as a designer we should break the rules of the world and create our own instead. It's a goal.

I love all think quirky and kitschy. I always look towards the old for inspiration of the new. Organic shapes and structures excite me, along with the streets of asian fashion and 90's toy collectibles.

I also have the habit of restlessness, which is why I always try to channel that energy into trying out new styles and techniques for all my works. Versatility to me plays an important part in being a designer, as trends will forever change and we as designers will have no choice but to adapt. And that's what I love about fashion, how there's a possibilty for creativity not bound nor constricted by anyone but yourself, so why not start unleashing it as early as possible?
